lighter chocolate fondant

Ingredients :

  • 150 g of chocolate

  • 30 g of salted butter

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 4 egg whites

  • 60 g of sugar

Instructions :


1. Melt in a saucepan the chocolate and butter and let cool

2. Mix the egg yolks and sugar until lighten in colour and foamy

3. Fold in the chocolate mixture

4. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form

5. Fold in the egg whites in 3 separate batches into the chocolate mixture

6. Pour into a greased cake pan (24cm diameter for me here)

7. Bake at 180 for about 23 min (keep an eye on it)
