Frangipani pie



Ingredients :

  • Two pie crusts

  • An egg for the egg wash

For the fragipani :

  • 75 g of butter

  • 2 eggs

  • 90 g of almond powder

  • 70 g of sugar

  • A splash of vanilla


Instructions :

  • Mix together all of the ingredients to make the frangipani

  • Place one of the pie crusts on a baking sheet

  • Smooth out the frangipani on the pie crust leaving a good 5 cm from the edges

  • Place the second pie crust on top and score it

  • Egg wash the pie

  • Bake at 200 for 20 min
