Cinnamon rolls


Cinnamon rolls are an all-time fall baked good. The pairing of cinnamon and brown sugar just warms your heart and is perfect when the weather is starting to feel cooler.



Dough :

Ingredients :

  • 190 ml of warm milk

  • 2 & 1/2 tsp of instant yeast

  • 50 g of caster sugar

  • 50 g of melted butter

  • A splash of vanilla extract

  • 1 egg

  • 400 g of all purpose flour

Instructions :

  1. Warm up the milk

  2. Add in the yeast and sugar and let sit until foam appears (about 5 - 10 minutes)

  3. Melt the butter

  4. Add in the butter, vanilla and egg to the yeast mixture and mix

  5. Pour into the weighed flour

  6. Knead for 10 min

  7. Let the dough sit for at least 2 hours

  8. Roll out the dough and add the filling

  9. Roll the dough and cut it using dental floss for clean cuts

  10. Put in a pan and let rise for another half hour

  11. Pour in 120 ml of warm heavy cream in the bottom of the pan and bake at 175 for 30 min


Filling :

Ingrédients :

  • 30 g of room temp butter

  • 100 g of dark brown sugar

  • 2 tsp of cinnamon
