Ingredients :
3 cups of flour
1 cup warm water
2 tbsp and 1/4 instant yeast
1 tsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
For the boiling/baking of the pretzels :
2/3 cups of baking soda
2 egg yolks
Kosher salt
Instructions :
Poor in a container the warm water, instant yeast, sugar and salt and let sit for 5-10 min
Measure and level 3 cups of flour
Poor in the yeast mixture and knead the dough for about 10ish min until elastic and smooth
Let sit to rise for about a half an hour
Separate the dough into 8 equal parts, roll into balls and cover to let rise for another 15 min
Form into pretzel forms and one and at time place into a saucepan with boiling water and 2/3 cups of baking soda
Let boil 1 min on each side and then place on a baking sheet
Brush egg yolks onto the pretzels and sprinkle kosher salt
Bake at 215 for 15 min
