Ingredients :
100 g of unsalted butter
160 g of dark chocolate
1/3 cup of white sugar
1/2 light brown sugar
2 eggs
A splash of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of flour
1/3 cup of cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1/2 tsp of salt
Instructions :
Melt the butter with the chocolate on the stove
Beat the sugars and eggs together on high speed until the mixture doubles in size and lightens in colour
When the chocolate mixture has cooled a little for a few minutes, gradually beat it in with the sugar and egg mixture until fluffy
Sift in the dry ingredients and mix with a spatula until just combined
You can choose to add whatever you want to the brownies or to decorate (I added sprinkles)
Bake at 180 for 20 min
Makes 16 brownies
